Urgent care (IM / FM / ER trained) Michigan VA Hospital.   

Requirements: Internal Medicine / Family Medicine / EM trained Physician who can cover 14 shifts in 11 days – ONE BLOCK - in VA hospital in Iron Mountain, MI (4 hrs north  of Milwaukee). 
Must be BE/BC (Board eligible or certified). 
Must have BLS and ACLS 
>2 years of ACUTE CARE experience in UC/ER/Hospitalist (no exceptions) 
Clean background with no or minimal malpractice.  

About Hospital: 17 bed medical center (basic med surg unit only, No ICU), No Specialists.  

Schedule: 14 shifts in 12 days (7 day shifts and 7 night shifts, full call on weekend) 

Day Shift: 7a-7p, average daily urgent care census 11 patients per day in 12 hrs (volume range 5-20 per day). Urgent care only Mon – Fri 7am-7pm.
Night shift: 7p-7a, cross cover inpatients (2-4 in volume) and nursing home, in house call.    

Pay: 1099 independent contractor position only. 300k per year, ANY STATE LICENSE WORKS. Optional: 450k per year (working 18 days every 4 weeks) contracted pay.  

Start date July / August 2022, Must commit for 1 year (Ideally 3 years). No visa sponsorship available.
Company car and company house is provided.
